The Project targets marginalized adolescent girls with disabilities in Kenya, who face considerable risks and vulnerabilities that affect their educational status, health and general well-being.

They are at high risk of sexual assault, unprotected sex leading unintended pregnancy, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections. They have limited income-earning opportunities and high rates of illiteracy, and often experience violence and social isolation.  In addition to all these challenges, they are frequently living in the context of acute poverty at their household and community levels.

Our aim is to Create safe spaces and builds capacity of Adolescent girls with disabilities aged 12-17 years in sexual and reproductive health and rights, life skills and financial literacy. The skills continue to increase their confidence to seek sexual and reproductive health services and Information hence reducing teenage pregnancies, reducing risky sexual behaviors, increased health seeking behaviors, acquiring bodily autonomy, increasing knowledge on SRHR, ability to make informed choices and mobilizing the community for action on issues affecting adolescent girls with disabilities.
