Who we are

Women Space Africa supporting rights of girls and young women with disabilities

Women Spaces Africa is a women led disability organization that envisions a world in which all girls and young women with disabilities, regardless of economic status, religion, cultural background and education level are nurtured and empowered to reach their fullest potential.

Our thematic areas are guided by the international human rights principles and regional frameworks to guarantee comprehensive rights to girls and young women including the right to take part in the political process, to social and economic growth, and control of women reproductive health.

Women Spaces Africa was established in 2017 as a CBO that was later transisted to an  NGO in 2022.

We provide a platform and space for girls and young women with disabilities between the ages of 15 years to 35 years for experiential learning to strengthen their capacity to create spaces for themselves at the community and regional level towards realizing their potential.
